Thank You Firefighters!
by Steve

I just realized that I had not published a big thank you to the firefighters who put out the fire in Menifee, and kept it from becoming a lot worse.

Now's the time to direct your attention to Menifee's very own Country Music recording artist, Michelle Crowley, and her song "Heart of a Hero", dedicated to the firefighting men and women...

by Steve
11/30/2006 12:04:00 AM
This Sunday, Dec 3, Menifee's very own Michelle Crowley will be performing a benefit concert, here in Menifee, to raise funds for the families of the fallen firefighters in the Esperanza Fire.
We wrote about
Michelle Crowley last May, as a rising country music artist, having opened for Carrie Underwood at a concert in Morongo.
The event takes place at the Wooden Nickel Ranch, at 1:00pm, and runs all the way to 8:00pm. Michelle will be performing her signature song, "Heart of a Hero", which happens to be about firefighters.
Tickets cost $15.00 per adult, and $8.00 per child (0-13), or $50.00 for a group of five.
You can listen to Michelle's music on her
website here.
You can also visit Menifee Mail Station (next to Fantastic Sams in the Albertson's Shopping Center), to buy Michelle's CD.

Menifee Woman Becomes Rising Country Music Star
by Steve
5/11/2006 09:30:00 PM

Michelle Crowley is a name you might soon become familiar with on local country music stations.
A local resident of Menifee, she's ready to perform her next concert this Sunday, May 14, 2006, at Casino Morongo, opening up for Carrie Underwood. Tickets are already sold out as of this writing.
Last Saturday she did a photo shoot at the fire station on Murrieta Road in Menifee, and handed out signed copies of her first single, "Heart of a Hero", an homage to firefighters who risk their lives for others. You can hear a sample of the song, along with her other recordings, on her
MP3 Music page.
She has a voice capable of alto and soprano ranges, and can sing just about any music genre, but her voice sounds quite impressive as a country singer. It has a certain mellow timbre that doesn't pierce your ears on high notes, and an alto range sounding smooth and effortless.
Michelle previously spent time in Utah building a singing career. She performed concerts there as well as in Nashville, and received offers for recording contracts. However, a divorce put her career on hold. A few months ago, she came back to Menifee, where she grew up, not too far from the Wooden Nickle Ranch.
Her dad helped her get her music career back on track. Lonnie Nall used to be known as "Little Caesar" around Las Vegas as a blues singer. He managed to get together band members that he used to play with, "Rudy T. and the Second Hand Band", who will be playing for her when she opens up for Carrie Underwood.
Michelle has additional concerts and singing engagements scheduled throughout the summer in Las Vegas and here in Menifee. Contact her publicist Durenda Lauzon for more information, at (951) 301-7070, or Mitzi Bierman at (951) 609-5584.
