Go Christmas Shopping for a Foster Child
by Steve
11/30/2007 05:12:00 PM
The Loft Scrapbooks, a scrapbook supply store here in Menifee, announces a Christmas Wish Tree they've erected in their store.
It's in cooperation with Walden Family Services, a foster family agency serving Southern California. The gifts you purchase are given to foster children in our local area.
The way it works is you visit The Lofts Scrapbook store between December 1 and December 20, and take a look at the gift wishes of local foster children adorning the tree. Then you pick up a gift tag and go shopping for items.
You bring back the unwrapped items to The Lofts Scrapbook store, along with your tag, and Walden Family Services will deliver the gifts to the kids that wished for them.
There's nothing you need to buy from The Lofts Scrapbook store, it's just a good thing to do.

CHRISTMAS IN MENIFEE FESTIVAL-UPDATE
by Ron Royer
11/16/2006 12:22:00 PM
I am back for the last time with this subject. The festival is being held this Saturday at the Mt. San Jacinto campus in Menifee. My wife reports that she has over 60 vendors, many from the local area and offering a wide variety of products. She also has announced that Supervisor Jeff Stone will be there at about noon to talk with residents and generally share in the festivities. There will be something for everyone from pony rides for the children to jewelry and clothes for adults and a line of apparell for man's best friend. Remember, Tarbell will be holding a raffle at their booth to benefit the lost firemen's families from the recent fire. Here is a chance to give back to those who gave so very much in protecting property in the Esperanza fire. Let's all get out and help create a community spirit for Menifee. We need an identity and here's just one way to help in this regard.

CHRISTMAS IN MENIFEE FESTIVAL-UPDATE
by Ron Royer
11/09/2006 11:30:00 AM
With over 50 vendors signed up, this years festival looks to be better than ever. Tarbell has reserved a booth and is planning a very special event. They have acquired a number of very nice items that they will raffle off and the entire proceeds will go to the families of the firemen that were lost in the Esperanza fire. They have also scheduled a fire truck and firemen to be present for picturetaking. Because of Tarbell's generous gesture, the Menifee/Sun City Chamber of Commerce, the festival's sponsor, will forego their planned raffle. There are still a few booths open for anyone with a product they would like to offer for sale.

Christmas In Menifee - Vendors Wanted
by Cheryl L. Ferrulli CEO Menifee Sun City Chamber
8/28/2006 03:22:00 PM
Vendors are needed for the Christmas in Menifee event held at San Jacinto college November 18, 2006, from 7:00am to 3:00pm.
Christmas in Menifee is being planned to help create "branding" for the entire Menifee Valley. It's meant to be a showcase of Menifee & Sun City area businesses, organizations, and clubs for the purpose of introducing the entire Menifee Valley to the Southwest California region. Cost of one vendor space is priced at $65.00.
The event will also take place in tandem with the swap meet and the San Jacinto College's scholarship awards ceremony. A large crowd of attendees is expected.
Christmas in Menifee is not a fundraising event, rather a stage for Menifee Valley businesses and organizations to showcase themselves to the public. Money raised from the event goes towards paying for the cost of the facilities.
For more information, or to reserve a vendor space, please contact the Menifee Sun City Chamber of Commerce at (951) 723-8511.
