MSJC Police arrest the “Beast”

by Steve
10/11/2007 09:22:00 AM

This was sent to me from a Menifee 24/7 reader. Apparently the following press release was distributed to the staff and faculty of Mt San Jacinto College, concerning a former student...
On October 5, 2007, a former student of the Mt. San Jacinto Community College District was arrested in Hemet on multiple felony charges (see bottom) after posting a threat to kill preschool children as revenge for alleged acts of the District's employees. The college began receiving phone calls from concerned citizens across the country shortly after 50 year old Edmond Frank MacGillivray, Jr., posted the threatening message on abcnews.com.

MacGillivray, who uses more than 60 variations of his assumed name, "Beast" aka "Sssotlohiefmjn Iamthebeast," was expelled by the college in June 2007 for numerous violations of the Student Code of Conduct, including making threats against the school in which he specifically referenced the Virginia Tech and Columbine campus massacres. Since that time the college has taken action to assure the safety and well being of students and personnel on its campuses.

MacGillivray is well known to the FBI and Homeland Security. He advocates terrorist activities, claims to be an Al-Qaeda leader, and supports Al-Qaeda ideology. He recently offered a reward online for the assassination of government officials, including the President, police officers and judges.

The arrest by Mt. San Jacinto College Police Department came as a result of the heightened security concerns at the college. At the time of MacGillivray's arrest, a neighborhood acquaintance expressed relief, saying "Beast is a very dangerous person and he is going to really hurt someone soon."

Charges are: Cultivation of Marijuana, Criminal Threats, Threatening Public Officials, Stalking/Harassing, Harassing Communications, Threat to Deprive Civil Liberties.

Reported today in the Press Enterprise, 19 year old Angel Ponce Nicholas, described as a resident of Menifee, was arrested in connection with the murder of Eric Hernandez, of Perris.

This is not related to the double murder that took place in Sun City, but yet a different murder.

Back on July 9, the Riverside County Sheriff reported that another man, Victoriano Meza, age 19, from Perris, was arrested following reports of gun shots at the 1200 block of Perris Blvd, in Perris. Deputies arrived on the scene, and found Meza fleeing in a pickup truck. They followed him down Murrieta Rd through Sun City, and nabbed him there.

Days later, the Sheriff reported the arrests of two other men, one of them being Angel Ponce Nicholas.

Parolee Arrested in Sun City

by Steve
6/22/2007 07:49:00 PM

The Riverside County Sheriff reports that Wilson Lahood of Sun City was arrested on charges of violating his parole, and are now suspicious that he may have been harboring underaged runaway girls.

Here's the full report...
On Thursday, June 21, 2007 at 11:06 AM, deputies from the Perris Station responded to a call at the 26000 block of Pacoima Ct., City of Sun City.

Sheriff's dispatch received information that Wilson Lahood, 30 years old, of Sun City, may be harboring underage runaway girls in exchange for sexual favors. Dispatchers did a check on Wilson Lahood and found he had an active arrest warrant for Violation of Parole, he was considered armed and dangerous, and a drug registrant.

Deputies spotted Lahood on the driveway of the above-mentioned address. Lahood entered a vehicle and fled from the location. Deputies tried to initiate a traffic stop and Lahood refused to pull over. Lahood led deputies on a vehicle pursuit, which lasted about half mile. Lahood then jumped out of his moving vehicle and fled on foot.

Lahood's vehicle continued to travel forward and eventually crashed into another parked vehicle. After a search of the area using a Sheriff's K9 team, Lahood was found hiding in a trash can near the corner of Annadale Rd. and Potomac Dr. in Sun City.

Lahood was taken into custody without further incident. The allegations of Lahood's contact with underage runaways is being investigated.

Lahood was booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center for the outstanding Felony Parole Warrant, Felony Evading a Peace Officer and Driving on a Suspended Driver's License.

Anyone with additional information about this incident is encouraged to call investigators at the Perris Sheriff's Station at (951) 940-6200.
