Editor's note: The following is a news release from the Menifee Union School District warning about a disturbing social media challenge on Tik Tok called "Smack a Teacher". Such action has serious consequences, and superintendent Dr. Jennifer Root has an important message here for parents and students:
Dear Menifee Union School District Parents and Guardians,
The safety of our students and our staff is a top priority for the Menifee Union School District. Last month our middle school principals shared with parents and guardians a challenge on the social media app called TikTok, The challenge, called "Devious Licks", encouraged children to film themselves stealing items from school or vandalizing school restrooms and to post the incident on social media during the month of September.
Unfortunately, it appears that this trend is continuing to be promoted and there is a challenge being introduced for each month of the school year through which children will be encouraged to engage in inappropriate and often illegal actions.
For October, the new challenge is titled "Smack a Teacher". Children are being encouraged to smack a teacher or other school employee and film the incident to post on the TikTok social media app.
If a student engages in this behavior, the District will take appropriate disciplinary action. This may include, but is not necessarily limited to:
-- Suspension and/or expulsion
-- Filing of legal charges against the student per California Penal Code
In the Menifee Union School District, each of our schools has well-implemented policies and procedures regarding appropriate behavioral expectations. In knowing that these expectations exist and have been articulated to all students, we sincerely hope that none of our Menifee Union School District students would engage in this challenge nor any of the other challenges that may come up throughout the year.
The District would like to ask that as our partners in educating your child, you would take the time to discuss with your child(ren) how important it is to have respect for those around them, both at school and throughout the community. Although "Devious Licks" is the current challenge encouraging these behaviors, there is also an awareness that there probably will be additional similar challenges with different names that also should not be participated in.
Also, please share with your child(ren) how the actions being encouraged through these challenges are wrong as well as the severity of the consequences for engaging in these inappropriate and often illegal actions. It is important that your child(ren) understand the consequences at the school, District, and police level that these, or related, behaviors could result in. Additionally, please remind your child(ren) that they should not engage in the negative behavior by filming these actions for another student.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this crucial topic and for working with your child(ren) to ensure that they are aware of the appropriate behavior for school and the severity of the consequences for actions such as discussed above that are not in alignment with school behavior expectations.

As I write, I would like to believe these words reach those that need to read them. Sadly our country is slipping into the iron grip of communism. Media censorship is a hallmark of the communist manifesto as is propaganda. Currently we have both.
ReplyDeleteEducation has been derailed by CRT and the teachers union while teachers have been deputized into the "Mask Police". Correct me if I'm wrong but it has always been a pillar of success to believe education is a life long pursuit. However it seems teachers assume by virtue of attendance, they fulfill that commitment to learn while they earn,in class. While it might give them the edge in a 7th grade history debate or 4th grade science fair, it does not excuse their lack of knowledge in subjects like human rights, constitutionally protected freedoms and our Bill of Rights. Teachers must swear (or affirm) an oath as a condition of employment. What good is pledging an oath as it appears they have no idea what "all enemies both foreign and domestic" even means? While "reading is fundamental" comprehension isn't required and research is like Kryptonite to those in education. Students are not second class citizens in our country. They are entitled to the same legal protections as adults, school superintendents, board members and teachers. Title 21 U.S.C. § 360bbb-3(e)(1)(A)(ii)(I-III)ofthe Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act states that masks MUST be voluntary with informed consent. Under the same EUA It is forbidden for manufactures of masks to label these products as being capable of protection to the wearer from any pathogen viral or bacterial. In fact there is an abundance of evidence that masks have alarming potential to cause life threatening harm to the wearer including psychological harm and distress. If the wearer is coerced by an adult(teacher, parent or administrator) it is a criminal act known as CHILD ABUSE! The current administration is in violation of all ten of the codes known as the Nuremberg Codes. In the end, wherever this dystopian nightmare takes us, no matter who prevails, the fate of traitors will be the same. In fact it was in Nuremberg that the world decided that the claim "I was just doing as I was ordered to do so" is not a viable defense for crimes against humanity. The standard for judgement is based on the legal premise of "what a reasonable person knew at the time or should have known. We all should know by now. There is more than enough information in public view for any reasonable person to know the enemy is inside the wire. Foreign and domestic! So just to bring it full circle, I had some awesome teachers growing up. Just a few years back, A bunch of us that went to high school together, hosted a round of friendly competition with our coaches and teachers over at Strawberry Farms. Good times and as much as I wanted to beat em that day, there is not one that I would ever Smack, not then, not ever. On the other hand, if they were harping, harassing and bullying me into wearing a mask, if they were forcing my prom date to sequester her beautiful smile or if they were compromising the immune system of all my friends, leaving them vulnerable to bacterial pneumonia, impetigo and even brain damage from decreased oxygen intake, they would have no reason to expect anything less, all things considered. Due to the potential for harm that these masks are proven (ask Fauci he studied the epidemiology of masks during the Spanish flu)to cause or contribute to, it might even be justified as an act of self defense.Either stand up or get written down. If you know, do something brave. In closing I'll just say, you have been given notice if you read this far and thus cannot say you didn't know, you've been served, the question is are you brave enough to publish it.
