Ground crews, tanker fight wildfire south of Scott Road

The Riverside County Fire Department posted the video below, showing a tanker dropping retardant over a wildfire along Winchester Road south of Scott Road. It was originally reported at about 1 p.m. Tuesday. By 4 p.m., the fire was 50 percent contained and had covered 28 acres. At 4:45 p.m., the fire was reported as 100 percent contained with final coverage of 28 acres.
