Sponsors sought to support 'Mayor's Challenge for Kids'

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Inland Valley is partnering with mayors Bill Zimmerman of Menifee and Michael Vargas to give local youth a fun outdoors activity next month.

The Mayor's Challenge will be an event including a virtual 5K, 10K and half-marathon in which participants "run, walk or bicycle safely from anywhere" in order to compete while maintaining social distancing. The event is a fundraiser to help the clubs "continue our mission to provide a safe, positive and affordable place for children..."

The clubs -- based in Menifee, the Quail Valley community and Perris -- are seeking sponsors for those who will compete. Sponsorship information is available in the flier below.
