Vicki Carpenter receives Woman of Year award from Morrell

Local businesswoman and community volunteer Vicki Carpenter was recognized with a Woman of the Year award during Wednesday's Menifee City Council meeting.

The award was presented by Senator Mike Morrell to Carpenter in recognition for her longtime service to the community. In addition to her business contributions as a realtor with Coldwell Banker Associated Brokers, Carpenter has served on the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Mt. San Jacinto College Board of Trustees, is a longtime member of the Menifee Rotary Club, and was a past Menifee Citizen of the Year.

"Vicki truly has a servant's heart," Morrell said in presenting the award. Her honesty, ethics and morals are to be commended. It wasn't a difficult choice for me to make."

Morrell presented Carpenter with a resolution from the state Senate in honor of the occasion.
