Freedom 5K open to runners July 1-5 in Menifee

Registration is now being taken for the Freedom 5K, an event created by the Finished Results timing company. Because the COVID-19 pandemic prohibits the traditional type of gathering for a 5K run, residents are invited to register online and run the 5K course laid out in Menifee some time between July 1-5. Using the honor system, participants then post their time online and Finished Results categories them by age group. It's a fun event designed to help celebrate the Fourth of July in a somewhat virtual way.

If you form a team of individuals to run the 5K, Finished Results will donate 50 percent of the team's registration fee in your team's name to a local youth program or school.
