The suspect in the murder of three victims found in a Perris cemetery on Feb. 17 was arrested today by police in Cheyenne, Wyoming, authorities said.

Jose Luis Torres Garcia, 33, of Perris was taken into custody after police conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a silver GMC Yukon with a California license plate, according to a Riverside County Sheriff's Department news release. Law enforcement also discovered 15 pounds of marijuana in the vehicle.

Garcia was wanted in connection with the murders of Perris residents Jaime Covarrubias Espindola, 50; Jose Maria Aguilar-Espejel, 38; and Rodrigo Aguilar-Espejel, 28. The case remains under investigation.
