Leon Road fire contained to garage; no injuries

A fire in the 31000 block of Leon Road in Winchester Sunday night was contained to a garage and no one was injured, according to fire officials.

The fire was reported at 6:59 p.m. on Leon Road south of Holland Road, according to Cal Fire Riverside. It was contained to a 1,500-square-foot detached garage, with minimal damage to a single-wide mobile home on the property. Animals on site were removed safely, the homeowner said.
