Hoag withdraws from Menifee school board race

In a video posted on his personal Facebook page today, leading candidate William Hoag announced that for "personal reasons", he is "resigning" his position on the Menifee Union School Board.

The final vote count has not been completed by the Registrar of Voters, but Hoag was the landslide winner in the Area 5 race. However, in an exclusive report, Menifee 24/7 on Nov. 14 reported that multiple documents indicate Hoag does not live in the community and falsified his address. Documents were turned over to the District Attorney's Office.

In his post today, Hoag said the reasons for his withdrawal will be revealed "at a later date." He denied the allegations and accused Menifee 24/7 of spreading lies to smear his name. Hoag has not responded to messages from Menifee 24/7 for the last week.
