Two Menifee teenagers who were reported missing on Thursday are now safely back home, the parents of both juveniles said Friday morning.

Trysten Farias, 14, and Joshua Corona, 15, returned home on their own to the Corona home early Friday morning, said Frank Farias, Trysten's father. Meredith Corona, Joshua's mother, confirmed this in a Facebook post. Both are safe and unharmed.

Trysten was reported missing to police about 6 a.m. Thursday after she was discovered missing from the home where she had spent the night with a girlfriend, Frank Farias told Menifee 24/7. Thursday afternoon, Meredith Corona posted on the Menifee 24/7 Facebook page that Trysten had turned up at the Corona residence but that Trysten and Joshua had run off together before Meredith learned that Trysten had been reported missing.

After a night spent in hiding, the teenagers returned to the Corona home Friday morning. No other details are known at this time.

Frank Farias and Meredith Corona expressed thanks for the many expressions of concern from Menifee residents.
