MSJC Foundation Gala scheduled April 14 at Pechanga

Mt. San Jacinto College Foundation's 10th annual Gala, with the theme "An Evening of Dreams", will take place April 14 at 6:30 p.m. at Pechanga Resort and Casino. This represents a change from the original date.

The Gala will highlight the innovations students create from inspiration and ideas. Student teams will compete in a Battle Bot Royale.

In addition, annual awards will be presented, including:

-- Outstanding Faculty Member: Paul Hert

-- Outstanding Staff Member: Beth Bowles

-- Outstanding Alumni: Captain Leonard Purvis, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department

-- Outstanding Community Member/Community Group: Assistance League of Hemacinto

-- Outstanding Business/Organization: Bank of Hemet

-- Outstanding Corporate Partner: Southern California Edison

-- Outstanding Public Service: Supervisor Marion Ashley
