Menifee woman faces DUI charge after collision with house

A Menifee woman was transported to a local hospital for evaluation before being booked for driving under the influence of alcohol after her vehicle crashed into a residence in the Sun City community on Wednesday, authorities said.

An investigation showed that Suzanne Louise Wersbe unsafely drove a vehicle while impaired, according to a news release. While turning onto Griffith Drive from El Rancho Road, the suspect drove through the back yard of a residence and collided with the back area of the house. No one inside was injured.

Investigators from the Sheriff's Department determined the residence had only minor cosmetic damage. No road closures were necessary. The woman's age was not released.
