Riverside County Sheriff's deputies and campus safety officers have increased patrols and on-campus presence after the discovery of a threat on the San Jacinto campus of Mt. San Jacinto College, school officials said today.

The threat was scrawled on the wall of a restroom on the campus, officials said. The nature of the threat have not been disclosed. School and law enforcement officials urge students and employees to report any suspicious behavior to MSJC Campus Safety at 951-639-5188 or 911 in an emergency.

There has been no report of threats involving the Menifee campus, but MSJC is increasing security across the district and is working with law enforcement to ensure the safety of students and employees.
