A Menifee man was arrested on multiple felony weapon violations Wednesday night after a search of his residence revealed that he was illegally in possession of rifles, handguns and four pounds of marijuana, authorities said Thursday.

Rick Huffman, 49, was booked at Southwest Detention Center after Sheriff's Department investigators serving a search warrant at his residence in the 25000 block of Antelope Road discovered two assault rifles, four handguns and the large amount of marijuana. It was determined that Huffman cannot legally possess the firearms.

The case is under investigation. Anyone with additional information should contact Investigator Garcia at the Special Investigations Bureau at 951-955-1700.
