Menifee 24/7 Facebook Audience Approaching 25,000

Menifee 24/7 is closing in on a milestone of which we are very proud -- 25,000 followers on Facebook.

As most of you know, we receive a large percentage of our traffic through the Menifee 24/7 Facebook page. Every story published on our website is also posted as a link or as a separate posting on Facebook. In addition, we use our Facebook page for reporting breaking news, as we recently did with fires in Romoland and Temecula.

Through this reporting source, our audience has grown tremendously. Our Facebook following has grown from 6,000 readers to nearly 25,000 in the last three years. That is three times the amount of followers of any other Facebook page associated with Menifee. It enables us to reach roughly 70 percent of the homes in the city we serve.

To help us celebrate the 25,000 milestone, which we should reach in the next couple weeks, we are inviting our readers to share their thoughts about our news website with us and with others.
