A court date for the suspect in the Dec. 23 robbery of a Menifee coin shop has been re-scheduled to Feb. 8, according to the District Attorney's office.
Joshua Nash, 23, of Perris was scheduled to appear in a felony settlement conference on Friday but the case was continued, said John Hall of the DA's office. Nash has pleaded not guilty to charges of second degree robbery, assault, reckless driving and driving under the influence in connection with the theft of two gold coins from Ed's Coins in the Cherry Hills Plaza in the Sun City community of Menifee.
There were no injuries in the incident, although shots were fired at the suspect by a coin shop employee. Nash is in custody at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Riverside with bail set at $150,000.
