United Church of Christ to Host Weekly Prayer Time

Menifee United Church of Christ will offer weekly prayer time in its Peace Garden on Fridays at 10 a.m. beginning May 15, Senior Minister Bill Freeman announced today.

"Our world is in need of prayer and so are many people," Freeman said. "We hope this will help meet at least some of that need."

Freeman said he will lead the prayer time and people will experience silent prayer ("Be still and know that I am God!"), scriptural prayer (praying the Psalms and other parts of the Bible), and spoken prayer (participants expressing their personal concerns).

The community is invited to take part in this weekly prayer time, which will last about an hour. Menifee UCC is located at 26701 McCall Blvd. in Menifee.
