Track Standout Misiaita Named Paloma Athlete of Week

Girls track and field standout Charissa Misiaita has been selected as Menifee 24/7 Athlete of the Week representing Paloma Valley High School.

Misiaita is the league leader in the long jump with a personal best of 14-10 as well as a leap of 31-1 1/2 in the triple jump.

"Charissa is an outstanding young lady and one of our team leaders," said her coach, Juan Merida. "She was integral in beating Cajon and Canyon Springs. Charissa has a great work ethic and is really fun to coach."
