The 4th annual Menifee Veterans Memorial 5K is accepting registrations at their website.

The 5K will feature a tough course with steep hill climbs and extreme elevation changes.

Kids will also be able to participate in a Captain America 1K Dash. The kid's 1K will weave through Wheatfield Park.

The event will take place Saturday, Nov. 8, at Wheatfield Park, located at 30627 Menifee Road. Registration for individuals participating in the 5K will cost $30 and $15 for the kid's 1K. Group discounts are available.
