The Inland Pacific Ballet, Southern California's premier professional ballet company, will perform in 4 theaters, but this year they will expand their reach into Riverside for the first time, at the Fox Performing Arts Center on December 27th.

They will be opening their 20th season with the holiday classic, "The Nutcracker".

“We are thrilled to expand our touring this season to four theaters including the beautifully restored Fox Performing Arts Center in Riverside,” states Artistic Director Victoria Koenig.

“While the core elements of The Nutcracker story remain the same, the show is always evolving and changing," Koenig says of the holiday favorite. "This keeps it fresh for the audience, the dancers and all of us involved with the show - from Directors and Ballet Mistresses to Costume Designers. There is a great energy around the work this year. It's very inspiring."

The Inland Pacific Ballet, now beginning it's 20th season, is a professional ballet company of national stature and is based out of Montclair. Their large studio facility houses it's own costume and scenic departments. Through an Extensive Outreach Program, Inland Empire Ballet focuses on introducing more people to the art of ballet and make the experience more available to wider audience.

The founders of IPB, Kevin Myers of Riverside and Victoria Koenig, are southern California natives who bring a wealth of experience and leadership to their company. Over the past 20 years, they have built Inland Pacific Ballet into the premier ballet company of the region.

They will be performing 2 shows on Dec. 27, at the Fox Performing Arts Center. Times will be 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased for $38 and discounts are available to senior citizens, students, and large groups. Information and tickets can be purchased at www.IPBallet.org.

The Fox Performing Arts Center is located at:
3801 Mission Inn Ave.
Riverside, CA 92501
