Woman Suspected of Menifee Crime Arrested Again in Murrieta

A woman arrested for a recent vehicle burglary in Menifee was arrested again Sept. 5 in connection with a similar crime in unincorporated Murrieta, according to a Riverside County Sheriff's Department news release.

Janece Fiechter, 37, of Murrieta was booked at the Southwest Detention Center for burglary after surveillance video from an Aug. 22 crime in Murrieta was located. Police said the evidence indicated Fiechter was responsible for the burglary, in which the suspect broke the passenger side window of a parked and unattended vehicle at a business in the 38000 block of Sky Canyon Drive and stole the victim's purse.

Police said Fiechter was recently arrested and booked for a similar crime in Menifee. No other details of the Menifee crime were released.
