Menifee 24/7 Launches New Website Format

Today Menifee 24/7 launches its new website format, which we believe will be easier for readers to follow and find the news they're looking for.

This attractive new format categorizes stories and photos in sections, so you can more easily find items related to a particular subject. As you see, the major news of the day goes into the "News" section at the top of the home page. Stories of major significance will remain at the top of the page, rather than being pushed down the news feed as other items are added, as before. Items that belong in other sections -- Sports, Advertorials, Contests, etc. -- will appear under the appropriate labels further down the page.

The first few items in each section will appear on the home page. You may read the entire item by clicking on the story or the headline. To see a list of all items posted in that section (most recent first), click on the section header. From there, you can click on individual stories.

Sections may also be accessed from the tabs at the top of the home page. There is a search function in the upper right corner of the home page.

The new format also includes an Opinions section, in which readers are invited to submit "letters to the editor." These must include the writer's full name and contact information and should be emailed to menifee247info@gmail.com. Details can be found in the Opinions section.

It will take several days for the full conversion from the old format to take place. All new stories will post into the correct section, but it will take some time to convert all the archived stories from the old website. We appreciate your patience while we complete that process and work out some of the glitches.
