New Programs Starting at Boys & Girls Club of Menifee Valley

After a successful summer of fun and activities for the Boys & Girls Club of Menifee Valley, Executive Director John Whann and his staff have announced additional programs as students head back to school.

Six new programs will be added starting Aug. 18:



Rainbow Chefs Iron Chef Challenge

• For both boys girls ages 6-12
• Classes will be held Wednesdays, Sept. 3-24. from 5-6 p.m.
• Fees are $48
• A $20 membership will apply for all non-members.
• Financial assistance is available.

Class activities include studying a "special ingredient" in every class, then using that ingredient to develop a creative dish. Members will "judge" their "Chef Masterpieces." All classes will be held at the Menifee Clubhouse

Junior Tennis Lessons

• For boys and girls ages 4-6 and 7-12.
• Classes will be held on Saturdays, Sept. 6-27 at the Murrieta Tennis Club
• Classes for ages 4-6 will be held from 11:30 a.m. to noon
• Classes for ages 7-12 will be held from noon to 1 p.m.
• Fees are $20 for ages 4-6 and $40 for ages 7-12
• A $20 membership fee will apply for all non-members.
• Financial assistance is available.

Discover Girl Scouts!
The Boys and Girls Club of Menifee and the Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio  will be collaborating again by offering four classes in September. All classes will be held at the Menifee Clubhouse.

• For girls grades first through fifth
• Classes will be held on Tuesdays, Sept. 2-23 from 5-6 p.m.
• Fees are $15 with a Boys and Girls Club of Menifee membership and $35 without a Boys and Girls Club Membership.

Taekwondo Lessons
The Boys and Girls Club of Menifee will collaborate with the Menifee Valley Taekwondo Academy.

• For boys and girls ages 6-12
• Classes will be held Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30 p.m. through Sept. 3-29
• Fees are $50 plus a $40 uniform fee.
• A $20 membership fee will apply for all non-members.
• Financial assistance is available.

 All classes will be held at the Menifee Clubhouse.

Acoustic Guitar Lessons

• For boys and girls ages 6-11
• Classes will be held Mondays, Sept. 8-29 from 5-6 p.m..
• Fees are $28.
• A $20 membership fee will apply for all non-members.
• Financial assistance is available.

All classes will be held at the Menifee Clubhouse.

Morning Care Service
The Boys and Girls Club of Menifee will provide morning care for Menifee Valley Middle School students beginning Aug. 18 from 6:30-8:35 a.m. Fees are $125 per month or $10 per day. Financial assistance is available. $20 Membership fee will apply for all non-members.
