Linda Denver Receives Award From Assemblywoman Melendez

Menifee resident Linda Denver was recently honored by California Assemblywoman Melissa Melendez with her "Power to the People" Award, given to individuals for their significant achievement and service to their communities.

Denver is one of the founders of Arts Council Menifee, which recently received the "Non-Profit of the Year Award" from the Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce. Denver serves as treasurer, and she also chairs the group's Theater Arts Division. Additionally, she is President of the Rotary Club of Menifee and Friends of the Sun City Library.

She is a member of the Menifee-Sun City Woman's Club and she assists her husband, Menifee City Council member John Denver, with the property management department of John Denver Realty. The Denvers provide awards and scholarships to outstanding 5th and 8th graders, as well as high school seniors, in Menifee and Romoland Elementary School Districts and Perris Union High School District.
