Temecula Police are looking for a man who robbed a bank near the Promenade Temecula mall Thursday afternoon.

The crime took place about 3 p.m. at the San Diego County Credit Union branch, located in the 29000 block of Overland Drive. An unknown suspect, described as a 6-foot white male adult, possibly wearing a wig, approached a teller window and demanded cash while simulating possession of a weapon.

The suspect fled the branch on foot with an undisclosed amount of currency. No employees were injured, and the suspect remains at large.

Temecula Police detectives, along with FBI agents, responded to investigate the incident. Investigators are currently pursuing several leads. Anyone with information regarding this crime is encouraged to contact the Temecula Police Department Detective Bureau at 951-696-3000.
