Menifee 24/7 Adoptable Pet of The Week: Parker

Name: Parker

Breed: German Shepherd/Lab Mix

Age: 3-1/2 years

Color: Black and tan with a little white

Gender: Male, neutered

Parker's Story: Parker is one of 14 dogs who were abandoned and left behind when their owners moved last fall. Handsome Parker appears to be a German Shepherd/Lab Mix who weighs almost 74 pounds. He is very loving, as well as sweet, loyal, submissive and eager to please. He knows to sit for food and treats. He loves to play fetch and he is good on a leash and walks. He gets along well with other dogs and is crate trained. He’s looking for a home with a large yard and/or acreage because he does not like to be confined to a small kennel or yard. He's used to being with other dogs, therefore, he's looking for a home that has another dog. Parker is a nice family dog and just wants to be loved and be part of the family. If you're looking for a dog that likes to play ball, fetch and go on walks with you, Parker is the one!

Agency: Rescue and Rehome, Inc., a small private nonprofit no-kill rescue.
