A Menifee man involved in an auto accident Wednesday night had a medical emergency before the collision that caused his death, police said tonight.
Michael McInerney, 43, suffered an unknown medical emergency before losing control of his vehicle on Antelope Road just south of Pampas Street and crashing about 8 p.m., said Deputy Albert Martinez of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. He did not die as a result of the collision, Martinez said.
McInerney was prounced dead at 8:46 p.m. at Menifee Valley Medical Center. The investigation is ongoing, Martinez said.
