May 10 Riverside Veterans Expo to Inform Veterans of Benefits

The inaugural Riverside Area Veterans Expo (RAVE) will be held this Saturday, May 10 at the California National Guard Armory, 14941 Riverside Drive in Riverside, just east of March Air Reserve Base.

This free event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the program portion will take place from 9-10 a.m. The purposes of the expo are:

-- To inform veterans of their medical, educational, recreational and other benefits for which they may qualify.

-- To bring veterans together with regional stakeholders and agencies that specialize in the delivery of veterans services, especially medical services, women veterans services, jobs and education for veterans, homelessness assistance and counseling.

-- To allow veterans the opportunity to meet and network with other veterans in the Inland Southern California region.

-- To allow veterans the opportunity to meet with elected officials, including Federal, State, and County leaders.
