Menifee 24/7 Adoptable Pet of the Week: Maximus

Animal’s Name: Maximus

Breed: German Shepherd

Age: 3 years

Color: Sable and black

Gender: Male, neutered

Maximus's Story: Maximus is a purebred German Shepherd who weighs 65 pounds. He is healthy, but is a little thin and needs to gain a couple pounds. He has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and is already microchipped. Maximus was turned in by his owner because she did not have time for him and he was home alone too much and was bored and lonely. He's housetrained, gets along with other dogs and kids. He is active, good on a leash and walks and loves to play ball. The German Shepherd Dog is not a breed that will be happy simply lying around your living room or locked out in the backyard. Maximus is looking for a home with an owner who knows German Shepherd Dogs and has solid experience with them. He's also looking for a home where he will not be the only dog and will be part of an active family that has time for him, will do obedience training with him, walk with and hike with him. Handsome Maximus is a great dog and deserves a great home.
