Volunteers, Donations Sought for Christmas Dinner Toy Drive

The organizers of the Menifee Christmas Dinner need more volunteers for this weekend's Toy Drive. Here's the latest message from their Facebook page:

We're good for volunteers for Saturday morning through noon. We still need more for 12-2 and 2-4. Sunday we're low on volunteers for the entire day...10-12, 12-2, and 2-4.

Donated toys are being collected to distribute to needy families in connection with the Menifee Christmas Dinner, a volunteer effort to feed families in the Menifee area. The toy drive includes collection stations from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the following locations:

Haun Road turnout across from Countryside Marketplace

Lowe's -- 30472 Haun Road

Postal Annex -- 30141 Antelope Road #D

Rancho Family Medical Group -- 30420 Haun Road

In addition to new, unwrapped toys, food donations are accepted at these locations. If you are able to volunteer, leave a message on the Menifee Christmas Dinner Facebook page.
