Normandy Road to Close During Pipeline Construction

Eastern Municipal Water District will be performing work in Menifee beginning Monday, Oct. 7, that will result in the closure of Normandy Road for several weeks, according to an EMWD news release.

The closure will take place between La Ladera Road and Berea Roads in the southwest portion of the city. Construction will begin on Monday and is anticipated to last until Nov.  4. This time frame could change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.

Signage has been placed along Normandy Road advising motorists of the closure and detour signs will be posted. The closure is to allow work crews to complete the construction of a recycled water pipeline to the new Audie Murphy Ranch development.

The closures and corresponding traffic plan have been approved by the City of Menifee.

  1. I don't see why they just do the work in the wash area first and THEN do the road last so they only close is for a week or two not a month
