Zeiders Family Story to be Subject of Historical Assn. Meeting

Members of the Zeiders family, a pioneer family in Menifee, will speak about local history and the landmark Zeiders barn (left) at a meeting of the Menifee Valley Historical Association this Saturday, Sept. 21, at 9:30 a.m.

The meeting will take place at the Haun Rural Center, 31850 Haun Road in Menifee. The public is invited to come and hear the history of this local family and about the opportunities the historical association provides.

Family members will display family photos, displays and history books in addition to showing a video about the cleanup following the recent fire that destroyed the big red barn, a landmark in the area since 1938.
