Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony today for the Temecula Valley Cardiology Menifee office, located at 29826 Haun Rd., Suite 301. The office will officially open on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
Dr. Frederick Wood, one of six board certified cardiologists working for Temecula Valley Cardiology, addressed those present at the ceremony and thanked the community for its support.
"It really says a lot about community effort," said Wood, "and in the field of medicine, we cannot work without a team."
Temecula Valley Cardiology currently has three offices and is affiliated with four hospitals, including Loma Linda University in Murrieta, Inland Valley Medical Center, Rancho Springs Medical Center and Temecula Valley Hospital.
Temecula Valley works with adult patients and offers services such as cardiovascular consultation, cardiovascular risk factor management, vein clinic and pre-operative cardiac risk assessment.
Wood said he and his staff of 35 are looking forward to serving the community of Menifee. Life doesn't end when being referred to Temecula Valley Cardiology, said Wood; it's where living begins.
