Rotaract Club of MSJC to Hold Children's Book Sale

The Rotaract Club of Mt San Jacinto College will hold a Children's Book Sale on Saturday, June 1 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Sun City Library Community Room, 26982 Cherry Hills Blvd.

The book sale is co-sponsored by Friends of the Sun City Library and the Rotary Club of Menifee. Last year, the Rotaract Club collected more than 1,000 children's books to offer for sale to families of pre-school through middle school readers.

"Books will be reasonably priced for both the young readers and the grandparent's gifts," said Shayla Esarey, current president of the MSJC Rotaract Club.

Proceeds from the sale go toward the Rotaract's international project to bring clean, drinkable water to a third world community, as well as the Summer Reading Program at the library. Additionally, community leaders will be reading to the children as part of the "Menifee Reads" program.
