“Retired, Set, Go!” is a series offered by Hospice of the Valleys and Sun City Library.
The next installment of this popular series – “How to Create your own Backyard Garden” – will be presentede on Wednesday, June 19 at 11:30 a.m. at the Sun City Library.
Andy Canella of Girasole Backyard Gardens will speak on the importance of eating locally sourced, chemical and GMO free food. He will address soil preparation, site location, seasonal crops, etc. Girasole Backyard Gardens installs garden beds and plants them with the vegetables the client desires.
The event is free and the public is invited. Refreshments will be served.
