Vacation Wear on Display at Woman's Club Fashion Show

Dozens of women gathered Saturday afternoon at the Sun City Civic Association to view the latest in vacation fashion while raising money for local charities.

Hosted by the GFWC Menifee/Sun City Woman's Club, the third annual event brought together local talent and commerce, with several small business vendors performing brisk business along the hall's perimeter.
Event proceeds benefited local charities The Alternative to Domestic Violence and Women Against Child Trafficking.

In keeping with the theme Come Fly With Me, guests tasted international cuisine provided by Thomas Catering. They were serenaded by local personalities Nicole Farrell and Tracy Bunn.

Farrell, who recently won first place in the Menifee's Got Talent competition, delighted the crowd with showtune classics from Chicago and 42nd Street. Bunn, a multi-talented performer with the band Kulayd, and owner of TST Entertainment Company, crooned the Frank Sinatra hit from which the event got its name, as well as other staples of the era.

Menifee's TJ Maxx franchise donated all clothing showcased.

  1. Look at those happy faces. The women always have a fun time at these events. I am sorry I missed this one...but I will attend the next fashion show.
