Paloma Valley Boys, Girls Basketball Teams to Open Playoffs

The boys and girls basketball teams from Paloma Valley High School will continue their seasons this weekend when the CIF Southern Section Division 1A playoffs begin.

The Wildcats boys team, 12-16 overall, received an at-large bid to the playoffs and will face Crescenta Valley, which finished second in the Pacific League. The Falcons, 20-7 overall, will host that playoff opener Friday at 7 p.m.

In girls basketball, Paloma Valley (14-12) will open the playoffs at AB Miller at 7 p.m. on Saturday. The Rebels are 21-4 overall.
