New Features Enhance Menifee 24/7's Offering to Readers

Menifee 24/7 has introduced several new features recently, and we want to make sure our readers are aware of them and check all sections of our site regularly.

Beginning today and through Feb. 12, we are offering our readers the opportunity to send a Valentine's Day message to that special someone in their lives. Simply call 760-408-2010 and for a $5 fee, you can leave a message of up to 50 words to be posted on this site on Feb. 14.

On Monday, we announced our new Teacher of the Month Award. By emailing menifee247info@gmail.com, you can nominate a Menifee school teacher you believe deserves special recognition. Next week, we will select the Teacher of the Month, who will receive a $50 gift card from Massage Envy.

Now that youth baseball practices are underway, we're looking for more input for our Youth Sports page. Today, we reported on the league's plans for an Opening Day carnival March 2, including free tethered hot air balloon rides on the Re-MAX Diamond Realty balloon. You can read about it by clicking on the Sports tab at the top of this home page.

Parents, as well as league and team officials, are invited to send us updates, photos and statistics for posting in our sports section. Let us see and hear about what the players are doing in preparation for the upcoming season. We welcome news about all youth sports. Email news to doug.spoon@gmail.com.

Also, don't forget to check our columns section daily. We are expanding this section with additional columnists. This week so far we have featured Marsha Seff's "Caregivers' Journey" column and Chuck Reutter's "Seniors Corner." Later this week, popular columnist Michelle Walsh returns with her latest "Menifee Mom" column.

Stick with Menifee 24/7 for the latest news, features, columns, contests and business news. Thanks for your support!
