Police Arrest Menifee Burglary Suspect in Utah

The following is a news release from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department:

During December 2012, the Menifee Police Department's Special Enforcement Team (SET) investigated a series of recent cat burglaries in Menifee. The SET team identified and linked the same suspect to numerous cat burglaries in Lake Elsinore and Temecula. On Dec. 12, 2012, the SET team served a search warrant at a residence in the 23000 block of Lake Drive, in the city of Menifee.

The suspect evaded capture and fled to Utah. The Special Enforcement Team was able to track the suspect to a location in Utah where local authorities took him into custody on Jan. 24, 2013. The suspect is pending extradition to California. The following individual was arrested as a result of the investigation:

Anthony Carl Napoli III, 29 years, from Temecula, for burglary.
