Seven local authors will be on hand to sign their books and greet guests at an Open Book Party Saturday, Sept. 29 at Book Warehouse in the Hemet Mall.
Tina Walker will sign copies of her book "Finding Christ Inside." Walker, who was raised amid abuse and neglect, uses poetry to tell of life-shaping events and how she overcame obstacles to find the deep joy within, even at the lowest level of emotional subsistence.
Bob Duchin will sign copies of his book "Not Enough of Her,' the story of his 47-year marriage to his wife Susan, who died in 2011. Martin Lastrapes, a native of the Inland Empire and the Grand Prize Winner of the 2012 Paris Book Festival for his debut novel "Inside the Outside," will also appear.
