Summer is upon us and the parks are open for outdoor fun! Valley-Wide Parks and Recreation has their calendar packed with family fun activities both day and night.

Wednesday, June 6, 2012: Summer Fun Day

Come play UNO in the park, from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Kids are FREE.

Friday, June 8, 2012: French Valley Friday Market (Every Friday!)

Stop by this open air Friday evening market for fresh produce, food, crafters, vendors, entertainment and more, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

Friday, June 8, 2012: Movies in the Park

Bring a blanket and chairs to enjoy a family movie on the big screen under the stars. Movies are FREE, suitable for all ages, and begin at dusk (around 7:30 PM).

Saturday, June 9, 2012: Menifee Chili Cook-off

Join Valley-wide for their first good ol’ fashion showdown amongst the community’s best chili recipes, 4 prizes will be awarded. Contest starts at 10:00 AM, $2 per taste.

Thursday, June 14, 2012: Summer Fun Day

Friday, June 15, 2012: Dive-in Movie Night

The Dive-in Movie Theater is open for fun this summer, so bring your raft and the entire family to enjoy some cinematic favorites poolside. Swim time from 6:00 -7:30 PM, movie starts at 7:30 PM, $2 for 2 and under, $5 for 3 and over. Note: Rafts will be allowed in the pool during the movie only.

Bring your swimsuit and your sunscreen for Water Play Day, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Kids play for FREE.

    Unfortunately the listed events are the only one's Valley-Wide has planned for the Menifee Community Center in June. Luckily all of Valley-Wide locations are within a short drive, so more fun for everyone!
