• This is a new High School (very well designed and decorated I must add) with administration and groups trying to start new traditions-I wish I could see notes of encouragement rather than off hand comments here. The Principal is a well thought and great guy and I am impressed with many other aspects of the school as well-show your support. They do need more organization and oversight in the band area as well as the cheer sections-though small-they could be "happier" and more spirited at games and much more creative. It will come with time though-at least they are trying.

• I'm impressed that HHS hosted a field show tournament when the band is less than two years old. I wish we could have attended, but I didn't read about it until after it was over.
  
  My son will be attending HHS next year and plans to be in the band. As a former band geek myself, I'm looking forward to being a band parent again (my older son was in his high school band 1998-2002).
