UFO Spotted in Menifee

I came across an article publishing on another website, that details an account of someone spotting a flying saucer hovering over Menifee, California. This apparently took place in 1996 or so.

Here is an excerpt...
We were driving straight ahead, no other cars on the road and we came across these water pump things, and hovering over them was a huge craft! The best way I can describe this thing was it looked like a stereotypical saucer. The kind of things you would see in cartoons. A saucer shape, with the glass kind of bubble on top, black all the way around it and blinking lights on the sides. The lights blinking though is the thing that confuses us the most because the colors of the lights were red, white and blue, government craft??? We have no clue. Now you won't believe this but it was within I'd say 100 yards away from us on the left side of the road!! And so you get a feeling of what we saw, it wasn't "a light in the sky". It was like, well imagine standing in your driveway and looking across the street at the house on the other side and only hovering about 50 yards off the ground. That's the best way I can describe the distance away from us and the size of this thing. And it made NO NOISE!
I guess even aliens from outer space are looking at real estate here.

Menifee Videos on YouTube

Temecula-based television station, KZSW (channel 3 on Mediacom Cable), has been uploading several of its video segments on YouTube.

Since many people in the south west Riverside County area still don't have access to KZSW, or don't even know about them, you can watch their segments online.

Some of the videos are focused on Menifee Valley, including the following...

Will it Snow Again in Menifee?

I was looking at the weather forecast for Menifee this weekend, and it looks like Friday is going to get cold.

Here's the current five-day forecast copied from Yahoo...

Menifee weather forecast

With precipitation expected on Thursday, and freezing temperatures early morning Friday, it seems like we have a recipe for snow. But I'm no meteorologist!

The National Weather Service published a "Severe Weather Alert" for Southern California, saying that the snow level may fall to as low as 900ft in the foothills and valleys...
ON FRIDAY TEMPERATURES WILL DROP ANOTHER 20 TO 25 DEGREES AND THE AIR MASS WILL BE UNSTABLE. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY TO ADD ANOTHER QUARTER OF AN INCH OF RAIN. SNOW MAY FALL AS LOW AS 900 FEET...BUT ANY ACCUMULATION IN THE FOOTHILLS AND VALLEYS IS EXPECTED TO BE SHORT LIVED AND LESS THAN AN INCH.
Does anyone remember the last time it snowed in Menifee? It was November 21, 2004. We have photos posted here:

Menifee Valley Incorporation Committee

We have now signed a contract with GST Consulting to conduct the required Comprehensive Fiscal Analysis. This analysis is a major requirement in order to become a city. GST is currently working with the Wildomar group on the same analysis and is therefore very familiar with the process and requirements. The principle of this firm was instrumental in obtaining cityhood for the city in which he resides.

As we move into this phase of the process, it is now time to raise the necessary funds to support the fiscal study, the boundary mapping and environmental study. TMG Consultants is in the process of helping us to raise these funds. As part of this fund raising, they have scheduled a Casino Night on March 3, 2007 at the Menifee Lakes Country Club at 7:00 pm. Details will be forthcoming as they are finalized.

Now is the time for the backers of cityhood to step forward and help us raise the money necessary for the process to move forward. So far, you have only been asked to sign the petition offered to you by the volunteers spending their weekends standing in front of the grocery stores and Target, and walking door to door, nothing more. Either contact me through this medium of call me at 301-5203. Your generosity is appreciated by the voluteers working this process and will give you a feeling of involvement in cityhood.
