The Press Enterprise reports that the California Association of Recreation and Park Districts named our very own Valley Wide Recreation & Parks District as the "Best Large District" in the state...On May 5, the California Association of Recreation and Park Districts selected Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District as the 2007 best large district, surpassing about 67 other park districts throughout the state.
According to the article, it was Valley Wide's "quality programming, facilities and service to the community" that earned them this distinction.
