CBS News reports that a teenage girl was injured yesterday, when her Volkswagen Jetta came into contact with a big-rig truck, at the intersection of Sweetwater Canyon and Scott Road, in Menifee...The girl was traveling east on Sweetwater and the rig, hauling two dump trucks, was heading west, when the Jetta crossed the double yellow lines, CHP Officer Brad Barksdale said.
The accident was reported at 3:45pm, yesterday. The girl's identity was not disclosed by CBS.
The teen -- her exact age was not immediately available -- was taken to a local hospital with a broken leg and other injuries, Barksdale said.
